Yard sales this morning, ribs in the oven for dinner and now off to lock myself in my craft room to clean it out and work on a couple of projects that have been bugging me!

You're going to be busy!  Good luck with your projects!

I really wish I had known you when my boys were little.  I would have loved to have quilts made for them...instead, I made some myself and found a new respect for all the work that goes into them!

Super cute quilt!
I'm at my store right now. It's typically dead for this time of the afternoon. SO, here I am! :D

OMG, I love that quilt!

I'm writing a brief (and hopefully at least starting two more - all 3 are due on Thursday) and face painting at a birthday for an hour.

Thanks for the compliments on the quilt - it's a new day and I'm still working on it!

Better, though - I like reading what everyone's 'doing today!'  Thanks for posting!

There used to be an ongoing thread about what everyone was working on and what they were up to.  It was always fun to read.  Maybe we should start another one like that...help all us busy people keep up with one another.

No reason this couldn't be that thread.

Works for me!  Quilting is finished (whew!) - now for the binding!  Was hoping to be done today, but I don't think it's in the cards.

Works for me too...currently I am learning Pynsanky eggs.  One of those really obscure things that I have been dying to try but never got around to it.  I have so far, screwed up one egg beyond help because the dye was too thick, broken one, and am typing while holding my third in the dye.  Hopefully, I will have a picture to show of a finished egg before I give up and throw them all against the wall!

I have NO IDEA what Pynsanky is, so I am anxious to see the pictures!  And I know what you mean...  the quilt I am binding was on it's way to the trash AT LEAST three times!!!

They are Ukranian eggs where you draw a design in wax using this mid-evil device then dip it in color.  Then you draw again and dip again in another color and so on.

Oh WOW - those are GORGEOUS!  Are they actually eggs or egg shapes?
