:D Excited about the shop, just have a few questions.  I don't know what the Google code is or where to find it.  On the question of shipping, I don't know the costs of items until I know the destination zip code.  I also don't have a scale to weigh my things at this point.  My preference is not to ship internationally, is that okay?
Thanks,
Lisa

Lisa you need to have a google analytic account if you want to use this feature. You can use it to track your visitors. If you don't have an account and choose not to, no harm done, just do not enter any info here. With the shipping you need to estimate a price, there are no real time shipping calculations. If you only want to ship in the usa, just create a profile for the USA instead of world wide. I would suggest you reconsider this as you are limiting yourself to worldwide clientele. I believe you only sell jewelry, I have not had an issue shipping jewelry worldwide for more than 3.00 dollars. I use USPS mail. Just a suggestion.
Thanks, I added shop with 2 products and I did include international shipping.  Thanks again.

So far so great! I haven't added any products yet - I'll try to get to that later tonight but so far shop setup has been extremely easy.

Thanks!

I posted a graphic for my store, but when you go to "view it", it is really stretched out. Any way to correct that? Didn't take long to do the initial set up. Love it.

http://www.Picnik.com is an easy tool to use to resize an image.  It's pretty self-explanatory.  Once you upload a picture or .jpg and click on RESIZE, make sure that no boxes are checked, then type the correct dimensions for width and height.  You'll be able to see the results on the screen immediately.

Hope this helps!

Hi... so I posted one item to my new shop, when at the site's main page (where it shows everyone's listings), I can see mine. but when I click on it, it bounces back to the main page instead of my item's description.

I clicked on other people's listings and it goes straight to the item description.. just not mine.  I tried logging off and it still doesn't want to work.

ACK!!!

I can see everyone's thumbnails but mine. What is the image size we're supposed to use or is there something wrong with my pics? They show up great in the details page, but nothing in the thumbnails.  :(

Oh now that is smooth!
Just did the basics of setting up my store (which i was sort of dreading) and it was so quick and easy! Huge kudos to the coder!

One issue - the GA section - which code exactly do I need to put in? (and anyone else who wants the info).

Edit - now I have found an issue, although its probably more my issue than yours. My pictures are optimised for ArtFire, which resizes or crops square.. and HAF doesnt... guess that means I will need to edit at least my primary photo.

I've been switching more over to the new site, and it's so easy!! One thing though. The thumbnails on mine look "grainy". Would that be because I had to compress the originals to fit the old site? Granted, my pictures are not the greatest. I suppose at some point I may have to retake them.

The ones I saw look ok. Your picks should be under 1000pix but not under 400 or so. Basically it is going to resize the pic to the display size. If you go to small it will blow the pic up to fit which would cause grainy ness

The google anlytics code you get to from google. I tried it on my shop and it google isn't seeing it yet. I'm not sure if it is because the shop is sitting on a subdomain or not, but we will test and get it working. It may have to wait till we go live though. I have a feeling the robots.txt file is set to not allow google right now. This is on the list with the developer however, like I said it may have to wait till we go live.

Glad you like it by the way. I think it is very smooth myself. :D
