I'm absolutely horrified to learn about Janelle's sudden death. I will definitely be saying extra prayers for her friends and family! I'm just so terribly sorry to hear of this tragedy. She was always a wonderfully supportive and loving person.

I'm just stunned.  Absolutely stunned about this.   :(  We had sent a few PM's here and there and she was very sweet.  Will be donating in a couple mins here!

I just got off the phone with Mike, Janelle's brother, as he requested that I call. The arrangements are not set in stone yet but, I do know that Janelle's ashes will be sent to her hometown in Missouri. The family has funds for this, so I told Mike we would keep donations going for the rest of the week to help with cleaning up the estates' affairs.
He told me to tell all of you thank you for your comments, as I sent him a link to this thread. He had no idea that Janelle had touched so many lives.
Although Janelle and Dan had some rather rocky past, things had been very good there lately and this came as a total shock to all the family and friends. There was a history though that came out in some news reports that didn't paint a very good picture. All I have to say is don't believe everything you read, from those closest to Janelle and Dan all seemed better than ever.
I don't know about everyone here but I have had some pretty dark times in my life and I would hope and pray that we all can learn and continue to love unconditionally here and at home.

Mike also said that the comments in this thread touched him dearly, he has not slept in almost 2 days and the kindness expressed by our members was desperately needed to lift him up.

I personally am proud to be a part of this group of people, thanks so much to everyone and keep the love coming.

Oh my gosh this is absolutely horrible! My heart and prayers go out to heir families.

I am absolutely devastated by this and even more hurt for her family's sake to see the unnecessary comments on the news website... which come across to me as a personal attack.

This forum is filled with wonderful people who have huge hearts and I can honestly say I am proud to be part of the HAF team. So when I see nasty comments like the ones on the website I have to tell myself there are probably 20+ (or more) positive comments about Janelle right here.

Such sad news. She was a very supportive fellow artist and her comments will be missed. If I'm not mistaken I believe she's from very close to where I live in Kansas City. I'm glad our support system is able to help her family.

Such :( terrible news.  Jan and I also became fast on line friends.  My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family.   :o I couldn't believe it when I read the e-mail either.  She and I had just done a really cool trade and she was a very talented recycle artist herself.  She will def be missed.  RIP Jan.   :( :( :(

I haven't posted to this forum in quite awhile.  I met Janelle on here way back in the beginning and bonded with her then.  I'm deeply saddened over this tragedy.  She was a wonderful person that I know will be missed.
