I just got off the phone with Mike, Janelle's brother, as he requested that I call. The arrangements are not set in stone yet but, I do know that Janelle's ashes will be sent to her hometown in Missouri. The family has funds for this, so I told Mike we would keep donations going for the rest of the week to help with cleaning up the estates' affairs.
He told me to tell all of you thank you for your comments, as I sent him a link to this thread. He had no idea that Janelle had touched so many lives.
Although Janelle and Dan had some rather rocky past, things had been very good there lately and this came as a total shock to all the family and friends. There was a history though that came out in some news reports that didn't paint a very good picture. All I have to say is don't believe everything you read, from those closest to Janelle and Dan all seemed better than ever.
I don't know about everyone here but I have had some pretty dark times in my life and I would hope and pray that we all can learn and continue to love unconditionally here and at home.
Mike also said that the comments in this thread touched him dearly, he has not slept in almost 2 days and the kindness expressed by our members was desperately needed to lift him up.
I personally am proud to be a part of this group of people, thanks so much to everyone and keep the love coming.
