Eric's Tap Handles
« on: March 18, 2011, 09:54:40 PM »
So... E is hoping to go commercial with his beer within a year by contract brewing through a local microbrewery.  He needs to get the branding going, and his planned name is Laughing Lemur Brewery.

So he found this guy online (I'm not sure where he's actually located) who makes rustic carved wood sculptures of animals.  It's exactly the style Eric was looking for.  He commissioned a tap handle from the guy, and it came today.  Eric is so ecstatic and excited, he's like a little kid!

He's got good reason to be, the thing is awesome.  Look:

And he's got a great, goofy grin.

How cute is that?!

Eric just needs the guy to taper the bottom to fit on taps, and enlarge the oval to fit the name of the beer as well as the name of the brewery... and he's all set!

That's cool - I'm sure if I tried to carve something it probably wouldn't even be recognizable!

Ha, fitting!  Laughing Lemur was originally going to be Drunken Lemur.

Nice lemur wood sculpture. If I receive this, I'll be ecstatic as well. I also like the name Laughing Lemur Brewery, sounds really cool. After seeing this, I would like to drink an ice cold beer. Thanks for sharing!
