Twitter Ring Round 3 Week 1 - Feb 28th to March 6th

Well, I tweeted for all the artists on the list.  I hope I did it right, with the tiny url and the #HAF indication.  I look forward to continuing with this ring and I hope it brings us all lots of views.

I already goofed... I forgot to put the #HAF tag! I'm sorry I am VERY new to Twitter... is there a way to edit my tweet? Also I was reading Aimee's post about the guidelines and such... I have one question... and feel rather silly asking but what is RT (http://handmadeartistsforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,5084.0.html) lol...

That's ok, I see that folks are trying and that's all that matters!  We're just trying to spread a little joy for our fellow members.

A RT = Re Tweet.  If you retweet someones tweet it lets them know that you're watching (because it puts their name and your name in the resulting tweet) and it can also allow you to send a tweet without having to write something of your own!!  Sneaky stuff.

I use Tweetdeck to monitor my Twitter feed... it's not perfect, but I can get a good sense of what folks are doing.

I was a little late getting started on the Twitter Ring, and being this is also my first time participating, I went ahead and tweeted at about each, other than myself of course.  I will re-tweet through the 6th for each day, for each artist.  Thanks again to all for this wonderful opportunity to be seen!

Just another tip.  I like to use the @username in my tweets as well, then others who see the post can also check out that person's twitter profile as well as follow the link to the shop and the person you're tweeting will get a notice they've been tweeted which is cool.

That odd link is what social oomph did to shorten the URL.

I have noticed there is another use for #HAF which seems to be some sort of lewd reference.  Might be time to change our hash tag?  Don't know...will you guys have a look and see if you see what I mean?  Thanks!

This came up I think in the first round. We decided to keep going with it to flush them out. Since we've picked this up again we'll keep with it and will flush them out. Not sure if we'll change our minds this time.

Oh, sorry, I didn't see it discussed here before, but glad to know you guys are aware.  I like the idea of flushing them out.   Thanks!
