I am all for supporting the Forum and the contests, but the letter-writing element of this one had me completely stumped.  So here is my entry...

This is Renee.  She is an 11" tall handmade rag doll.  To try and comply with the rules of this contest, she's holding a tiny Valentine's card which I made in which she could write a letter.

I know this is a HUGE stretch, and if it is too far out, I will completely understand that my entry is not included.

No, that will be fine! I wanted this to be a challenge, but I had no idea it would be quite so challenging for everyone! A simple Valentine's theme just seemed too easy, though. :) I guess next time we'll make it not so difficult.

I hope I'm putting this in the right spot, I don't think I have many posts AT ALL!  But what I want to say is that I will donate a candle to the winner of this latest contest.

You can view my candles on facebook.
If I'm not allowed to write this, then would an administrator please just keep out my business name?

I really wanted to enter this contest, but between school, work and product development, not much free creative time. But then I thought maybe I could enter one of my Valentine Day cards - maybe?

I'd like to enter little Godfrey for the competition.
Meet Godfrey
A rosy-cheeked, glum and lonely amigurumi Valentines ornament.
He's been crocheted from acrylic rainbow yarn and his little embroidered felt heart reads "be mine".
I included a ribbon and Godfrey's blushy cheeks are made using a stamping pad - I'm not sure if this is stretching it a bit too far.

ok, so my train of thought has been sort of "what could I use to make a card/letter" -  But, I'm prone to decorating letters, as well as cards.  how many entries can we enter????

I would like to enter my "I love you, Lotion" lotion!  I handmade the lotion from a recipe that I have developed over time.  It features a pretty pink bow on it for the theme of writing love letters as sometimes people use ribbons to dress up their letters.

I have my entry, the display is the link to the writing theme.  The entry is a pair of ear rings with labrodorite and onyx beads accented with the "P.S. I Love You" hearts.  These fit the idea of the post script well as the hearts appear to have been attached as an afterthought.

I love so many of these entries - voting is going to be hard!!
These are my love bugs - the original one was red, I made these for my kids and grandkids, the purplish one on the right actually has a baby bug on it as my DIL is pregnant.
they are made with a small glass heart, Glitter added a whole new dimension to these

Maybe love letters from long ago where mailed in this old British style mailbox. The date on the stamp says 1874, so I am assuming it's commemorating an anniversary of some sort. The stamp came in a pack of vintage stamps that I bought from an Etsy shop, most of which were Australian.
Anyway, this is a lapel pin made using the stamp that is mounted on a bamboo tile using an image transfer liquid. It has 2 small faceted red beads at the top.

Awesome entries everyone! Good luck ! :)
