Chainmaille Guitar Strap
« on: April 21, 2009, 10:06:57 AM »
This a project I made a while back for my 9 year old son. It's Bronze and Bright Aluminum European 4 in 1 weave. The strength is fine for a 9 year old but if I were to make one for a rock band it would be stainless steel with out a doubt to with stand the strain.

Enjoy any comments or critiques are welcome as always.

Lucky son.  Never thought about chain maille for a guitar strap.  What a great idea!

18ga 4mm rings, I have to look up the guy who made the leather ends he was an etsy seller and did a great job. If you want his name let me know and I'll find it. Stainless is definitely the way to go for strength
