Let's Decide the Theme for the Next Challenge!!

Hey guys! It's that time again!! After a very successful challenge in July/August, we're looking to start our next one soon!! Here's how it's gonna work: You guys decide on the theme, I'll decide on how it's going to be a challenge. So pick a theme, any theme!

Halloween?
With a twist of some sort.
I really like how you guys came up with using something and turning it into something else.

I'm surprised no one is saying anything! I guess we got all burned out on the last competition. So you want Halloween, eh? I like the idea of a twist...I will have to think on that. It would have to be something crazy, like a Caribbean Halloween. We could do another revamping contest. Ooooorr, we could try something different. We could require that all entries contain something specific (like a black cat). We could force all entrants to MAKE something specific (something easy, like a notebook). Or we could make everyone use a specific material in their item, like some lace. There's a lot of possibilities!

So speak up everyone! If you want a Halloween theme, we need to decide this quick, since we're almost halfway through September already! If you'd rather go for a different theme, or more generic one (like Autumn)....speak up! All ideas are welcome!!

This is a good idea also, a little morbid, but good. Wondering if we can put a cheery spin on it in a respectful way.

Maybe celebrating a life?  Like something to do with a gift that person would like to receive, or what the person liked to do for Halloween (if we're combining ideas)?  Or being inspired by the person's favorite song, band, or genre?

... or pet's since animals were mentioned too.

At least it isnt as morbid as my first thought LOL... but I was thinking more along the celebration of their life, not the sadness of their parting.

Could we combine celebrating someones life with a meaningful song, or even just a chorus out of a song? The song would be a starting point, something to get the creative juices going, celebrating a life is a huge concept, with so much potential, its pretty abstract too, like... how do you celebrate a whole life with a work of art or design or craft? Or you take a significant memory to inspire a design, or even a series... am I thinking to much?

I love the idea since my family did lose a member last year. I would celebrate her by designing something she would love and then donating the proceeds to the Cancer Society.
