Tartan baby apparel
« on: September 05, 2010, 06:44:20 AM »
These newborn baby vests or onesies as they are affectionately known across the pond are the latest edition to the Prem2Pram patriotic baby clothing range.

Each baby vest has an appliquéd tartan dress. The fabric used on the appliqué is the Stewart Black Tartan.

As a huge fan of kilts, tartan, and all that is Scots-Irish, I love these!

Glad you like them, I have just made some tartan dribble bibs in the same Stewart black tartan fabric, these can be seen on my website.

Larissa if you like tartan you can look up the tartan for various names here

My Uncle through marriage is Scottish and he is the only Scottish relation we have as far as I know.

Eric's part Irish.  I have to find out the family name and look it up!  Wonder if I could get him to wear a kilt...

Awww, so sweet! I think I half expected to see a small skirt with these too  ;)

Unfortunately genuine Scottish tartan doesn't come cheap and if I had added a skirt it would have made the dress too expensive, after all babies quickly outgrow their clothing.

Larissa We want pictures if you do manage to get your hubby to wear a kilt  ;)

Agreed.  Now to figure out how to find out the family name (he doesn't know it)...
