I have to agree with everyone that skin contact wouldn't be desirable.  If you do rugs, you could include a piece of the rubberized non-slip stuff to put under it for use on linoleum/tile floors.

I think the perfect thing would be a grocery bag!  Take the single use plastic bags and make them into a larger, reusable bag for use in your weekly shopping!

Or how about some kind of soap or shampoo holder for your shower since water isn't an issue?

If they'd drain well, they'd be great for soap dishes, since that's the biggest concern with homemade soap... if you have it in a crappy flat soap dish, it turns to goo and wears out much more quickly.  The key is to have it in a soap dish with really good drainage to keep it longer.

This is a picture of the bag I have on my etsy site.  The one I made my friend had longer handles so she could use it as a shoulder bag.
