Well i've been crafting as long as i can remember. I have always been creative. When i got married and moved away my mom said "well there goes my imagination. my house will look awful now" lol

I have done many different things but find i love scrapbooking, designing floral arrangements, cross stitching, jewelry, and other beaded things the best. My online shop shows how i cant stick with just one thing. LOL

I really got into selling it just this year when i was diagnosed with a health condition that makes it almost impossible to work a "normal" job. With my husband's encouragement i started selling my crafts online. Its been an exciting venture so far.

Im glad to be a part of a board of other crafty minded people. :)

I asked my mom to teach me how to knit on a whim 3 years ago and have just taken off with it ever since!  I married into a super crafty family so my SIL and I have craft nights every once in awhile and stamp curtains or make hair wreaths :)  I love the feeling of making something .vs. buying it!

WOW, it was so long that I started crafting. When I was very young I larned how to sew, my Mom taught me & I also learned some in homemaking. From there it just kept going, I did alot of sewing in my teens-made myself alot of clothes, baby gifts. I made my wedding gown along with bridesmaids(some I made, some I helped with) & flower girl dresses. Then I got into crafting of many different things, I used to make Cabbage patch dools & dress them to order. I have done cake decorating & candy making. Soaps, candles,quilting-the list just goes on. Then I decided to try my hand at painting, so I got inot one stroke. I taught myself & since then I have just kept going with my own style. I enjoy it very much, except somedays that everything seems to be wrong! So, that's about it for how I got going on many crafts! Very intersting to read everyones' stories how they got into crafting!

My mom was always the crafty type but she never really had the chance to express it because of financial situations. I have always looked up to her and use to do crafting with her when i was a child. I still remember by first set of beads. I was 4 and they were the king that had links on them that you just linked together. Do you remember those? Well, ever since i have loved beads.

I first started making jewelry as a way to make some extra money! I didnt do very well and I was just really not that into it. One day I was looking for beads that had flowers on them as i was going to create a springtime bracelet and that is when i saw my first french beaded flower!!
I fell in love! I was awed by all of the detail that when into every petal and leaf and the time it took for someone to make it.

I had to learn so i bought a few books and taught myself the craft! I have been doing it ever since and it has been years and I am still loving it. Not only does it bring out my need to create but it also is a way for me to remember my mom. as she not only loved crafting but gardening. She loved flowers and now that she is gone, i can carry on where she left off!
