This ring is just perfect. I got my first custom order and my client wanted rings to match bracelets and necklaces... I was at a loss. I just emailed her the picture and the beads I can get to match and she called me on the phone SCREAMING... I gotta make two, one pink and one aquamarine or she's gonna call me every day and scream...
Thank you for preventing further unnecessary hearing loss.
I HATE posting pictures because they always turn out like crap, but when all the items are finished in my gratitude I shall swallow my perfectionist pride and post you the end result of my clients custom collection I have dubbed Cotton Candy on CRACK. Pink and aquamarine.. hey, it's her choice *shudders and swags my body in my favorite goth/steampunk inspired creations and adopts a very old school disapproving silence*
I don't have to like the colors, I just love making it!
LOL @ the Cotton Candy on CRACK!!
As for pix.... do you use a tripod? I have one camera that I keep on the tripod at all times for jewelry photos (unless I have to change the battery, of course)
. I also use the two second timer, and the aperture priority setting. HTH!
Can't wait to see your creations!!
I loathe pink... I've never been a lace and frills girl.. so yes. CC on crack... I use a tripod and a light box I made out of tissue paper and a cardboard box. I need a new camera that has a better macro setting and better lights. Pics either turn out off color or not lit correctly. As I've told Andrew and Kim, my standards are way over the top... I sell much more in stores (or a store as I only have one store with consignment pieces) or at an art show or flea market. Websites don't work as well if the webmistress can't take a decent picture. I will post it, the beads I use are on their way and Jon and his crew at TRL are making my rings as we post.
I love this ring, I already have different bead shapes laid out on my desk staring at me..."WRAP me Frann.... please wrap me!" (think the voice of the Fly in the 60's film)
Andrew... never dare a nut case, we always take that dare to astronomical heights...
