This is our new sign. It's on the wall just above the steps that go down to our shop. It is 3 feet wide, 2 feet high pan face. (it sticks out about an inch, rather than being flat) It's aluminum.

We had a "soft" openeing on Friday, Aug.5. The other signs hadn't arrived yet, but some pepople found us okay. Many of them were other shopkeepers from the street, the ladies from our bank, etc. We only had 2 sales, but frankly it was more than I expected. Saturday was much, much better. There was a festival geared for kids, mostly all free. Pony rides, craft booths, those huge blow up things they jump in, face painting (not nearly as nice as yours Larissa). We had our other signs out, including the loaner sandwich board from a shop few doors down. We had just over 50 people and many of them purchased stuff.
Personally, one woman from the Alamance Arts Council really liked my wire work pieces and is going to recommend them to their board as a new consignor in their gift shop. They only take 30%, I get 70%. Not a bad deal at all, and if it makes me sell more jewelry, than I will be a VERY HAPPY CAMPER! I'll let you know what happens with that.
