Are you expecting many more crafted?
Just curious, I haven't been keeping up with the thread much.

There will be at least one more entry.  I took pictures, and was about to upload them when my rechargeable batteries died.  So there will be one from me, hopefully tonight.  Hopefully in an hour or two.

She was having some issues getting the post up.

There are no before  photos because I read the directions after I started altering the shirt.  If you use your imagination, you can see that it's a plain pale green  shirt. I love fancy stitches and fancy threads so I used both. No thread  and no stitch combination was used twice.
I  started with the collar, then went to the back yoke and then the left  front. The penguins are NOT upside down. I live in the northern  hemisphere and the penguins are in the southern hemisphere. From my  viewpoint, they look exactly as they do on the shirt.

Well, we had a lot of interest in the contest, so.......if anyone has an entry they want to enter at the last minute, let us know!!! Send us a message if you have to. We would like as many people to take part as possible, and if you're almost done with your project, we don't want  all that time and effort to go to waste!! This is the first time we've done a contest quite like this (er...right, Andrew?), so just let us know if you need to slip your entry in at the last second.

Great shirt, Deb! Lovin' those stitches!!

Yes this is the first forum wide contest and I'm cool with last minute entries over the next couple days. I'm going to have a tough time getting the blog post done over the next couple of days. Lets say that by Wednesday we will close out the last minute entries and I'll get the post up so we can start voting.

Sorry but I'm going to be working in NY for the next couple of days and time is not going to be on my side.

Since my pictures are kind of huge and I don't want to mess with posting them on this forum, here is a link to my blog:

http://greenwycke.blogspot.com/2010/08/finished-shirt-revamp.html

It didn't turn out like how I envisioned, but I learned a lot and had fun.  No pattern was involved.  And now if I need to make a small parasol in the future I'll have some idea of how to do it.

I have to say that it was definitely worth it to pick something I didn't have any experience with.  I'll try this for future contests.

Cool parasol, Greenwycke!! Love how you left a pocket to put things in!! ^-^

Okay, so the final, FINAL deadline is now Wednesday, August 11!! ;D I guess I'll wait to post my pictures on that day, so no one feels bad about being the last minute poster.

6 fantastic entries so far!! Who's next??

Very cool!  I know people who'd be totally into that shirt, and the parasol is such a neat idea!
