Lovin all the critters! They have such sweet faces. We are looking to get another dog so Farrah will have company during the day. We will go to the animal shelter. Farrah sees cats as prey, so that wouldn't work.

Teresa, my dog will chase anything outdoors, but he has surprised me how much he accepts any additions in the house.  He's been really great with the new cat.

Love your furbabies, Marilyn.  Tommy seems pretty relaxed for having been there for such a short time.  How are the two of them getting along.

We have gotten all of ours by people either dumping them off out here or thru accidental litters of friends and off of craigslist, except for Lilya.  I know I should go to the shelters but I just can't do it.  I would have leave there with all of them or with only one of them and in tears coz I couldn't take the others.  It would break my heart too much to see them all.

I appreciate others who can do this. I really do.

They get along really well. My dog is very territorial outside, but he seems to like having a little buddy in the house to play with.  I looked at kittens when I went to the spca, but decided that kittens are pretty easy to find homes for compared to grown cats. Tommy had been there most of his life (3 years) and he was just so sweet, I couldn't resist him.

They're so beautiful, Marilyn!

Shelters come up with the funniest names for the animals.  Before I adopted Hunter, they were calling him Folly.  ???

Good luck with keeping him off your palette, though.

Meg actually gets along better with cats than with other dogs.  That's why I got Hunter.

Just made myself a cone with some key lime pie ice cream. Lucy came up to check it out like she usually does, sometimes even taking a little lick. Not this time. She made serious banana face (those with cats will understand what that means, I think.) Key lime must be one of those flavors they don't like the scent of.

Well...not a pet exactly, but didn't want to start a new thread just to show off the hubs. LOL  (He looks grouchier than he really is.)

Sorry, but they can be pets!  Feed them, rub their belly and they will do most anything for you.

There, there; be a good boy and go play.  I'll give you some attention later.

I would post a new picture of my dog, Harry, but he won't let me.  He is too embarrassed by the scalping I gave him.  I've undermined his beauty.

I'm sure in the mid-90s weather we're having this week, he actually loves you for it.  What kinda dog?
