Yes, this stone is "as is"!!  Purely natural.

Gunmetal is an actual metal alloy, comprised of brass, copper, tin and zinc [also called Red Brass]  <--- googled that.  I would say it is also a color, since a large percentage of what you see offered as "gun metal" has actually obtained it's color through a plating process and is not the true alloy.
