Ebony Pandora Bead on Sterling Snake Chain-Purpleheart Too
« on: April 13, 2010, 06:09:22 PM »

A little something new, I figured why not a pandora bead made of exotic wood? Made from the centers of my donuts, none of the wood actually goes to waste, only sawdust. I have this on a sterling chain to give an example, but I will probably sell these simply as beads. So, what do you think?

I like it!  Different AND it puts something to use that might otherwise have ended up in the dust bin.  Make sure you're clear about that when you put it up for sale   ;)

Thanks Aimee, I will!  ;) :D

Thanks Brenda! Next time you are in GA, if you are anywhere near N. FL, come by and he can see my ex's stash in person! I mean that too!

Wow, that bead looks so terrific with that chain ... are you sure you don't want to sell them together?

Nancy-Yes, I would sell them together if someone wanted them that way. I thought of that snake chain as soon as I started shaping the bead.

I think boys will like it more than girls.

So, pandora is simply a larger diameter hole for the bead?

I love that ebony bead; I admit, you already had me at snake...   ;D

I stumbled this thread.
