Man I would love to be a fly on the wall and watch you work.  This has got to be a really interesting process!  Your subject matter is unique~ you know I love that!

Thing is about the way i work my sculpture is it's very much about the making process and figuring out how to do it.  Once I've done that with one piece, like the sheds and greenhouses in the allotments, I get a bit bored so whilst those are coming together, there's Moai and Submarines and Mini cars being popped in the kiln too to play with....

I always seem to be looking at the next thing I can play about with and that's the biggest struggle is to rein myself back in and finish things off properly!  It's just a good thing I only make small things otherwise there would be these epic half finished bits of glass all over the place!

BTW I'll be making a couple more Moai this week, so if anyone wants one specially made or in a different colour then let me know.  I have pink, blue, green, orange/red, black, white, lilac and aqua crystal in stock as transparent tints.

Andrew and I were talking about this!  When we get rich and famous (nothing like dreaming big!) we are going to travel the world and sit in all the lovely artist's studios and watch them work...you never know, but someday we may end up on your doorstep begging for coffee and lessons!

I'm hoping to be able to be in demand enough to travel the world teaching too!  But yeah, students/visitors/eyeballing is always welcome!

If you go to the Flickr album, I think there's a picture in there of the mold when it came out the kiln, all the coloured ones were literally melted together with colours flowing into one another.

It's all Gaffer casting crystal I use and their palette is lovely.  I get it as large frit so you can literally mix your own colour blends in the mold.

I saw that picture~ so the color mix was unintentional?  I really like it!

Now I'm stumbling your flicker.   ;D  lol
