Woohoo! That's really good!! Cards don't usually stand much of a chance in the Voter. But you're at the top, which is fantastic! I always feel bad for those people that only get like one vote.

I also feel bad for the people on the bottom.  I wonder if they even knew they were in the voter.  Etsy doesn't send you a notice, I just went to view the gallery and there I was!

Yeah, I kind of hope they don't know. Of course, if they are at the bottom, maybe they didn't tell their friends about it (because they didn't see it, y'know?).

I think this may often be the case when there's a huge disparity in the number of votes in a contest of this kind. I think you can attribute much of the voting to what people actually like, but then when one item gets hundreds of votes and another item gets one, and the quality of the items in the contest seems relatively equal, then I think other factors may come into play.

I know it may sound cliche, but the honor of being "found" and included in an Etsy Voter or other similar competition is already a big win.

Yeah, I definitely think that sometimes people will either have everyone they know come and vote, or they will make a bunch of accounts and come vote.

That one was a BIG deal!! Now, do you think the Etsy community would honestly pick painted spoons as their favourite? They're cute and all that but...come on....No one's even bought the item yet. *cough* Anyway, I agree, just being included in the Voter is a huge honour!!
