I Need a Serious Critique, More Like HELP!

I was looking at the beads and thinking, since they have such tiny holes (as all gorgeous stone beads do, it seems), another option could be to run the fine wire though the bead and create a small bail, then use a larger gauge wire to connect the bead bail with the finding and wrap over the smaller bail/bead.

Could someone possibly show me, with a picture, how to attach the larger wire to the smaller wire?

Sorry this took so long today~ my computer is being bad.

I used 28g wire, started by making the loop I'm using to connect to the larger gage wire


Then I wrapped on the briolette


Using 22g, I made the bail that will connect to the earring finding and then made a tiny loop for the briolette



I connected the briolette wire and the finding wire and then kind of squished the 22g loop to make it oval shaped and closer in size to the diameter of the 28g wire


and then basically wrapped the 22g over itself, the 28g wire and down the briolette

THANK YOU GINA! I was having a brain fart, and couldn't picture how to do this, wonderful directions and pictures. I am going to try this and post the new pics when I am done.

GREAT STRING OF POSTS!  Thanks so much for the tips.  I'm not the best at wire wrapping but this is pretty self explanatory.  I will have to give it a shot and show you what I come up with!

OK, I admit defeat. I tried, according to Gina's directions, and I just couldn't do it. It still looks very messy. Time to put these away for awhile, or just give them away completely.
