I've written one!  I just have to plug it into the wordpress thingy!  Oh and translate it into american too!

Lord girl...don't translate into American!  I'm firmly convinced that most Americans have to worst grammar in the world!   :-\   Kidding...can't wait to read it!

Oh, I'd love to see the Scot version!

(But then, my favorite book of all time is Kidnapped, by my favorite author, Robert Louis Stevenson, and the book was written in dialect, with a Scot >> English glossary in the back!)

I thought the idea was to post an article about myself  and I think that would be really hard to do, what kind of promotion do you have in mind?

Maybe we can interview each other.

Maybe we can interview each other.

You can promote your shop if you want to.

If you want to feature each other that is fine also.

Before you joined the forum, there were a couple people that were featuring other artists. It was just too much to ask of them anymore. So I figured I would open the blog up to the forum.

As far as I'm concerned if the article or blog post fits in with handmade it's fine. Whether you write about yourself or someone else. Post a tutorial, technique.
Anything that you can think of as long as it fits with our purpose of supporting handmade. 8)

Okies, I'm done, but I got confused with all the tagging and stuff so please feel free to amend it as needed!

You did great, yours will go up after lunch tomorrow EST. Don't know what time that is in Scotland.

I added a widget on the left sidebar of the forum showing the recent blog posts, in hopes that it would encourage our members to comments on other members posts. With the new forum, blog, and shop theme the sites appear to one even though they are really three different platforms on 2 domains, shhhhh don't tell anyone ;D , the point is that traffic from any site will move between the pages and from site to site. Anyway I'm sure if you had an article, that you took the time to write, that you would want comments on it. So please take a minute and check the blog from time to time and support your fellow members in their individual quests.

Also if you haven't put up a post yet, what are you waiting for? 8)

omigosh, Andrew, I totally forgot about posting on the blog.  Life turned upside down this week, my cousin passed away suddenly and then a friend the same day.  I've been in a fog.  Anyway, I will get a post up on yours truly next week!  Free promotion is good...always good!!

I'm gonna have a crack at it now :)

I submitted my article for review and seem to have lost my formatting, font sizes and picture but at least you can see the text, and review the content. Is the style of writing suitable?
