If it helps, when I first hit "submit for approval," it hung up on me a bit.  I refreshed the page, and it posted fine.

Can I do one?  It might take a while as I'm busy making a sculpture, but it will be hot from the kiln!

If it's been long enough and I suddenly think of something else brilliant to say, can I write again?  Or is it once per customer?

I'd say once a month is fine, it really depends on the response. I'd say we've had around 10 or so, which is surprising, I figured more people would jump in.

So write away, I'd rather have new stuff going on the blog than none at all.
Enjoy!

Nifty!  And if we're second-time-arounders, hopefully you'll have enough articles that ours have to wait in the queue anyway and it won't be too close together.

HI!! I'm new on here and I'm trying to write a post to the blog to feature my shop. I can't seem to be able to rename my links. I click the button for "edit your link" and I rename it in the field and click update but the post still reads the url as www.swakdesigns.etsy.com vs SWAK Shop. Can someone help?
Amina

If you are looking at the post in visual, not HTMlL mode. Just highlight the text you want to link and click the paper clip and paste the link in the box that pops up. and that will create a link text.
Hope that helps

Just wanted to  bump this up. Maybe a few people that have posted can let others know if they got any hits on their site or shop or whatever they were trying to promote.

When I first offered this quite a few people jumped in and then nothing. I'm confused why people will pay other sites to post promotional things about their shops and or blogs. But when you offer it for free it fizzles out. I really don't want to mention the other sites as I have nothing against them, but their traffic is marginal at best yet they get people to pay to post and then take it down a month later or else you have to pay more.

I thought it would be cool to let our forum members be able to post on the blog every now and then to promote their various causes or sites or shops or whatever. But I just don't understand the lack of participation, maybe I should of charged? I guess free is  too good to be true.

Sorry but I'm confused......

Walks away talking to myself.... :-\
