Ten-Second Challenge
« on: March 01, 2010, 07:14:05 PM »
At GrandpaToys -- where our slogan is "For Ceramic-Induced Smiles Since 2008" -- my Finger Faces are about as far from jewelry as one can get. And, beyond their being "crafty creations", they also reflect my somewhat offbeat sense of humor. See what you think. If you have 10 seconds, check out my shop. If you don't crack a smile within the first 10 seconds -- maybe even laugh out loud (well, maybe just more of a snort), you probably won't need another ten seconds there. It's just that kind of place.

You got me!  I've loved your shop from the first time I was poking around!

Thank you all for your kind words and thank you, Gina, especially, for your comment about the reasonable prices. Six months passed between the time I registered a name for my shop (after my son found and told me about Etsy) and the time I gathered sufficient confidence to actually offer my stuff for sale. My first sales were custom-made Finger Faces which I sold for $6.50 apiece. Now, at least, I think I'm making SOMETHING on each sale...
