I was about to "talk" about these when my computer went wacky!  Had to just shut it down!  and for some reason the 4th pic won't work - but
neither-

I took pictures - actually 2 of them are from yesterday from my yard - the peace rose and the yellow rose

The darker pink one is at a rose garden by a library here in town - I took about 46 photos today!  and only 3 came out, out  of focus!

There is one bush that isn't quite in bloom yet - have to go back and get those - they are awesome.

Didn't think that you were taking pics, but they are gorgeous.  In Ohio the roses aren't out yet, just the tulips and lilacs.  I have this picture running through my head of a painting of spring flowering trees.  I am hoping I can paint it over the weekend.

The Jersey roses aren't out yet either, but I did spend over 4 hours today pulling weeds from the beds.  Tomorrow I get to put my plants in...after 9 days of straight rain it felt so good to be out in the sun.

Jeanne:  Thank You - that's another thing I do - photos - mainly flowers - mainly roses!  since I cant' paint them any more I take pics of them.  I was so happy that all of them (well almost all)  came out so good!  I guess after having the camera for a year, I 'm finally figuring it out. lo :)  I'd love to see the finished result of your painting!

Makin the best of it - oh it would be nice to have some rain here - but 9 straight days of it!  I bet it did feel good to be out in the sun! Even pulling weeds would be nice after that much rain!  and I would think there would be a bunch!

There is one rose bush that I want to go back to get some pics of - they weren't quite open - they will stop budding by the end of June as it will be tooo hot by then - most of the other ones do ok - but not these particular ones.
