how do you come up with words for your descriptions

Question along the same topic...as a buyer do you like the stories and flowery descriptions?  Or are you just interested in the meat of the matter like material and dimensions?  My two cents...If I am window shopping I love to read the cute little stories and inspirations for a piece, but when I am ready to plop down my money I really only care about the facts.

I like to hear about the inspiration, or the reason for using a particular weave or bead or whatever, but the main thing I want to know is the facts - accurate measurements in both metric and imperial, accurate material description, whether it can be adjusted if needed.
