Blog Ring Anyone?

Well I was thinking this morning that we have tons of members who blog and maybe we could put together a Blog Ring for the forum. I was part of one for a while, but basically you pick a blog and everyone who is involved writes about that persons blog, shop, website, creations or whatever. It is sort of a promotion blitz like the HAFteams' Spread the Love.

If we pick a blog of the week and and all of our members who have joined the blog ring write about the selected blog then next week the next person on the list gets written up on everyone else blog. It good for creating links between the blog and giving everyone's site more validity.

I think the easiest way to manage this is to create a section on the forum for the blog ring. Members that are interested in participating will get put on the list of blog ringers and then we will just go down the list and start blogging.

Here's the problem, I can't run this. Need a volunteer!
I'm sure that I can offer something up to make your volunteering worth your while. Weather it be an ad on here or a free shop on the Handmade Artists Shop while you are running this outreach. We'll figure it out.

First of all I want to see if there is an interest, because I don't want to waste time with this if no one is interested.

So if your interested in participating or volunteering post here in this thread and in a week or two if we feel we have enough interest we will set it up.

I like this idea and would love to be a part of it. That being said I do not have time to be the person who handles it...

I was in an Etsy blog ring earlier in 2009 but I think it may have been defunct.

I'm interested....AND....if it's just simple matter of keeping a list and posting once a week, I can do that along side Spread the Love.

I'd pefer it be a first come first serve- so I don't have to worry about drawing names cuz that gets confusing.
Besides it'll be easier for people to keep track of when they're being featured....

I'm in and I'll run the ring...you have enough to keep track of with Spread the Love!  I am done with school (Yes, after 3 LONG years I've finally graduated 20 years late!) and need something to keep me busy while I figure out what to do next.

If you are interested in taking part post here and I will start compiling the list of blogs.  Once we have a few more I will start posting the order of featured and give everyone a week to post then move on to the next.  Sound like it will work!  If your blog is not in your signature, be sure to get it to me so I can start compiling the list.

Thanks Larissa!  It has been a very long haul for Andrew and the kids and now I just wander around lost because there is nothing due in the morning.  Guess I will have to start rethinking my days!
