Handpainted Glass Bottle
« on: May 05, 2009, 10:09:35 PM »
I almost didn't list this, I really like the way this 8 sided bottle came out.  I did the design based on an art nouveau vase I saw on Antiques Roadshow.    I use glass paints that are pretty durable - I did a glass 5 years ago that gets washed at least 2x month in the dishwasher and the paint still looks great!
What do you think?  I have it listed for $33.00.   It's 7" tall and 1.5" across. http://

It is a very pretty bottle and I think you did a great job painting it.

That looks pretty good.   The vine work looks nice and consistent.

hehehehe Armored - I can''t paint my toenails either!
I get polish all over me!

Part of it is a frosted paint -

You should see my fingernails when I try painting them - much worse than my toes!  ;D

One who makes jewelry, chainmaille, paint, etc...cannot have pretty fingernails.  It's against the law.

Nails??? You mean I'm supposed to worry about my nails?  They always are a mess and I've just learned to live with it.

So if I do my chainmaille with my feet I can get manicures?

Frosted paint? where do you get that?

More power to you...if you can do chainmaille with your feet you deserve more than a manicure.
