Vanilla

I think of my ornaments more as art in the round than ornaments per say, so decided to put this one in here.
"Vanilla" is a 3" silver lined glass ornament.  I really like painting on the silver lined ornaments the most - they really add to the luminosity of the paint. Although this one is white frost, with the silver ornament shining through in the design.

what i like best is where the silver pokes thru, the reflections of the surroundings change.  this one may be one of your very best.   cookie.

Vanilla ice comes to mind, but in a good way ... very pretty.

Cookie - thanks- yeah I like the silver peaking through too - for pretty much the same reasons you do.  I did name it vanilla as it does take on and enhance so many different surrounding colors sort of like vanilla enhances so many recipes.
