Here's one of me from a few years ago, I've since cut my hair real short and had it grow back. (It's on my Library thing account, easy to find at the moment).

When my hair was shorter, back in April of last year. (The earrings and necklace in that pic I bought - the wire tree was something I was making, and taking a few quick cell phone shots of - another easy to find shot of me thanks to LJ tags. Ya, I take to many pictures of cats, landscapes, and jewelery, hard to find ones with me lol)

I tend to let my hair grow out to about past my shoulder blades then get it cut short - so I can donate it. Plus to if I'm going to bother getting it cut it's more fun to have a bunch cut off instead of just a trim. I've donated 30 inches in the past 10 years, and it's long enough now that I can donate again whenever I'm up for a cut. Preferably after summer, as I can pull it back up off of my neck at the moment.

If I find a more recent picture of me I'll have to post it. :)

ok - I really don't have any recent pics - can't remember exactly when this one was taken - about 9 years ago - my hair is a little shorter and I probably look a little older - but it's me.

and this is my sweet kitty Jaz

Manic Butterfly reminds me of Aphrodite.

You all know what I look like. My avatar is my picture.  My husband came up with the idea of me putting on as much of my work as I could hold up and he took a whole bunch of shots of me.  We did this because we read somewhere in one of the many merchandising yourself books that customers were more apt to buy from and trust you, especially online, if they saw a good picture of you looking straight at the camera with a friendly and positive smile.  Here are a few more of the shots my hubby took.

We had a blast doing the shots and you can see why we kept the one in my avatar as the best one.  Thanks for asking.

lololo well I do have kind of hairy arms - but not THAT hairy!!!

Laura - those pics are great!!  You do wear your jewelry well!!! I don't know tho about doing pics of me with my jewelry - people may run away very fast if they saw a current pic of me - they might be afaid that the jewelry would make them look very strange!  lolo

Oh yeah, the mythical lady - Medusa - my curly hair will friz up in humid weather and if it's windy - forget it - brushing it doesn't do any good - then it just looks like a super long afro!!!!

So, Kimberly do I fit what you thought?

Wow-I have a lot of catching up to do with posts! Kris-while I never had a specific 'look' for you in mind, now I can say you look like I thought you would-if that makes sense?? lol  ;D  Of course I see you can commiserate with me on the hair-'super long afro' is exactly how I describe mine in the humidity!!  :o  The first time the bf saw it that way he said WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOUR HAIR?? LOL  :o :o

Laura-my favorite pic is the one where you have the big smile and your arms crossed-it just looks like you're really having lots of fun!!

Aphrodite-lol I'll take that as a compliment-although the natural curly hair has been more of a burden through the years than anything else! I straightened it for so many years that a lot of people never knew my hair was curly. Here's an 80's pic of me with my daughter along with more recent pics of us with straight and curly hair-my daughter got her dad's straight hair-

I haven't been close on anyone!  I get these images in my head and then see the real person and think "that is not what you look like!"  Oh, the mind of me is a scary place to live.

oh this is a fun post!  oh yes suzanne - have done the straightening thing - both chemical and ironing - yep with an iron!!! actually my cousin did it with the iron!  After totally destroying my hair (twice) chemically and it still wasn't straight - I called it quits on that - and have grown to love my curly hair - as long as it's cut right - and that can be tricky - everytime I get someone new doing my hair I ask them to please not cut my bangs - and somehow half of them get my bangs in the mix - and wack - then they end up almost to the top of my forehead - but wet they are to my eyebrows!!!  I don't shut my eyes anymore when they are cutting my hair in the front!!!
Had a guy cut it in layers years ago - the best thing in the world - and it's been in layers ever since - sometimes very short and sometimes long -

lolololo Kimberly - can't be that scarey!! - maybe we should stop posting pics of us - and then everyone can look the way you want them to!

 ;)(just kidding)

You all look fabulous!  Love putting names and faces together.  I never post my picture...but you have all been so brave, so here I go.

This is me last year (my hair is alittle longer now).
