This was at a big convention we have to go too every year.  They have a big dinner ball and I always try to make a statement necklace for it since I can't ever come close to being able to afford the type of jewelry the other women wear...can you say Tiffany?    I have to say that the necklace got a lot of attention from everyone!

This all has such a nice down to earth feel,with younger folks(not that I'm that old but not twenty something anymore sadly)and all of the regular type crafting people I've known before.

You know the kind of people who have been doing this since before etsy was born...I love the family feel.

20 something was way long ago...but I certainly don't feel old, well most of the time anyways!  Crafting is cool again which I love so we are getting a lot of younger people trying to break into art.  Love the fact that so many of the lost arts are making a comeback.

I feel old sometimes,but I hope I didn't come across wrong...just meant to imply I know I'm not super experienced and at the same time somewhat knowledgable about things.

Sounds like all is well but just wanted to be sure ;)...
