Beautiful. I too think he should join in, we need more men to balance us 'wacky women' out. Sorry, girls, but you know it is true.

Yeah, us wacky women do need some balancing now and then! hehe

Heather - would love to see the new photos - how did they turn out???

After taking some pics of  my oil paintings (pre digital camera)- I was pretty upset when I got the print back of one of them - the painting had gone through some changes and the underlying layer showed through on the picture - but it didn't appear that way in reality.  I'm still not really sure why it turned out that way.

I have to agree...the paintings are beautiful.  I only do abstracts and could never do something that wonderful.  I am full of admiration for someone with that much talent...

Thanks everone, I'll try to find the files tomorrow, I know he was workng on them but in his opinion they're not quite done...his own worst critic.
He's been working 60+ hours the last couple months and taking photography classes. - At least he's happy with his photos!

Kris, that is weird, usually oil is opaque so you can fix mistakes and changes - except black..black does funny things through a camera lens.

oh yeah, and tell him for me that just because he's so incredibly talented doesn't give him the right to be an art snob.  ;D

LOL! I call him a snob all the time. He's not really...but I still tease him.

Balancing 'wacky women' may not entice him since 80% of his crew and his entire management team are women - and they are 'wacky'!
