Loving the Responsiveness on This Site
« on: June 03, 2014, 07:08:47 AM »
I have only been here about a week and my first impression is a huge A+

The site is clean and sharp, the people friendly and the admin responsive and helpful.

This site is going places... Etsy better watch its back!

We just have to get word out so that Handmade Artist becomes a household word.

Amen!   I think it is a household word in  all our households.  This is the nicest group of people I have seen  in the online crafting world.  No one seems to be threatened by anyone else.   Just a cozy place with precious people.

Hi Peg,
I've been here since almost the beginning, and that's pretty much the way it's always been: friendly & helpful!
I kind of come and go - for a variety of reasons, but none of them are bout anything going on here, it's usually just personal stuff going on.
Welcome to HAF!

It doesn't bother me.  While I prefer to use real names, not everyone gives them & the sig doesn't show up when replying, so if you forget to check or forget the name before replying, OP is the easiest signifier.

Oh, I see why you have an issue with it now.  But OP actually comes from discussion forums looooooooong before Etsy and Artfire existed.  I was using OP in 1992 on BBSes before the internet even existed.

Hey, learned something new...thanks....this girl still does not know everything.....LOL
It just make my skin crawl because of the named sites above.....and my experience with them....In addition this site has been so much more personal then the others and I love that fact very much about handmadeartists.com.

So, Hi Larissa, Hi Peg....

Larissa, I do hope you have a good day today and think of wonderful memories today
and all the following days....hugs....
