This piece is just gorgeous the intricate detail just amazes me. “This piece has been cut from a single sheet of jet black silhouette paper with a matte finish. This premium silhouette paper is acid and lining free. All pieces are cut 100% by hand.”

This piece reminds me of a wonderful story from my wife’s childhood. I won’t go into the story but it always puts a smile on my face.  “Pieces are professionally mounted to rigid, archival quality art board. The board used is pure white for gorgeous contrast and is also acid and lignin free. This art board is 1.2mm thick (130 gsm) and is ready for framing without the need for a mat.”

Well, I was born and raised in Lake Havasu City, Arizona – a notorious vacation destination with a big reputation (that rhymed, ha!) – it is actually a pretty small town with temperatures regularly exceeding 120 degrees in the summertime. I believe that the town I grew up in had a great impact on my art; it was such a small town, and too hot to be outside for long periods of time, so I spent a great deal of my life dabbling in different kinds of art. ”
