Sometimes, the Glass is Completely Empty!

I was so flattered to be given the opportunity to be a contributor here on the HandmadeArtists Blog. It’s a simple commitment….write one article a month. I like to write so this should be easy….right? Not this month! The month is almost gone, and I hadn’t typed a single word.

Yesterday and today, I’ve been thinking and pondering and wondering what I could write about – trying to find anything that is remotely in the realm of arts or artists – so I could offer something useful to readers of this blog.  But I just came up empty.  It probably has a lot to do with the absence of ‘free time’ in my life right now.  I really do miss those mental health breaks; bits of time when my mind can just wander with no specific goal or destination to worry about.  In reality though, that is just an excuse.

Don’t get writers block, just click on the picture to learn more about this journal and the artist who made it!!!

My apologies for not having something mind-boggling to say this month.  But for your viewing enjoyment, here’s a little movie showing our new puppy, Maggie!  I shot this with my phone and I know it’s sideways, but she is just so cute!  Perhaps this film is indicative of my overall state – sideways!

Writers block is a constant hurdle for many of us I’m sure!

I’ve been taking a little time on my FB business page to help others with getting started in journaling or for those who want to take the step into it, either art or writing – or kicking that writers block or creative block with websites that offer prompts or free workshops. It happens to us all!
Thank you, Sandi, for the book love!

  • Hey Sandi… Maggie is really cute, even if she is sideways! lol As far as the writing goes, ideas will come when you least expect it.

BTW…. That sure is a gorgeous journal, it looks like something BlueHighways would make! ;o)
