Hi everyone, meet Diane, who is behind all these beautiful quilted pieces in her shop PatchworkMountain on Handmadeartists.com. A warm colorful table topper invites you to sit down and have a cuppa and chat, yes…. Diane makes all kinds of patchwork quilt art by hand to decorate your home. She knows that quilted art can beautifully accent any room, her designs blend new art techniques with the elegance of traditional quilting. Her collection includes lap quilts, wall quilts, table runners, table toppers and pot holders. The handmade patchwork quilts and table runners are sewn in an variety of styles and sizes to ensure that you will find the perfect piece for you. All her items are machine pieced and quilted by her beautiful self. The binding on her quilt art is hand stitched on the back for an elegant finish. She takes great pride in her work and uses only the highest quality fabric, batting and thread.

Diane lives in Colorado. Although she is originally from California, for the past 6 years, she has made Colorado my home. I can tell by her quilt art, I believe it shows Colorado all over. Just look at this quilt, I think it is so rich in colors and such a beautiful piece, can you not imagining snuggling up in it? Diane has been sewing for many years, starting out as a child when she first learned to sew her own clothes. After designing and creating many different sewing projects, her creativity blossomed when she was introduced to the world of quilting. What started as making crafts and sewing her own clothes quickly evolved into creating homemade patchwork quilts. In 1999, her passion for quilting led her to open an online fabric shop, where she could share her inspiration with other crafters. As much as she loved her fabrics, Diane soon became too busy with the fabric shop and no longer had the time to do both quilting and manage a shop. So, she closed her fabric shop to follow her real passion in quilting and PatchworkMountain was born. Who would not love to spend time in the kitchen with these around….   While she has always loved the colors and patterns of  fabric, she found a new love in creating handmade patchwork art using a collection of different, quilt-shop quality fabrics. Drawing inspiration from nature and her surroundings, I can imagining Colorado is full of them, she takes time to thoughtfully design and detail each and every piece. Knowing that quilted art can beautifully accent any room, she designs and blends new art techniques with the elegance of traditional quilting. Her collections include lap quilts, wall quilts, table runners, table toppers and pot holders. The handmade patchwork quilts and table runners are sewn in an variety of styles and sizes by her to ensure that her Clients can perfectly decorate their home. I am in love with this quilt, it is so colorful, you just cant be but happy around it….   Diane takes pride in her work, which can be easily seen if you look at her shop inventory; and she uses only the highest quality fabric, batting and thread. Each piece she designs and hand makes comes from a smoke-free, pet-friendly home. Diane hopes that her enjoyment in creating each piece and passion for quilting is reflected in all of her work and can be shared with her future clients!
