Oh boy, I soon will be moving to a 3/2 Townhome. Coming from a one bedroom Apartment Condo, I sure need to fill up the other rooms in my new home with practical and pretty things. I also need a lovely quilt to lay over the bed, like this one This is a Queen size rag quilt measuring 90″ x 90″. Also included is a matching reversible pillow measuring 18″ x 18″. This quilt has a very light and modern cottage feel to it. For warmth and a little fluff I’ve added a layer in the center of batting in each quilt square. There is an X sewn through the center of each block. All edges have been ragged

And I just love to decorate the walls with handmade 3 dimensional art like this heirloom quilt Vintage inspired white quilted wall hanging with hand embroidered art nouveau designs within hand quilted hearts make up this beautiful original wall hanging. White on white hand embroidery work is highlighted with light greens, a bit of very pale blue and pink.  The one cross stitched square has very light yellow, pink, and green. This  romantic wall hanging is made from a quilt that I made 11 years ago that was cut into different size blocks and pieced back together. Embellished with buttons and beads to cover a few very tiny stains. ( about the size of a mall pin head.) More buttons and beaded hearts were  added for aesthetics.

Or a candle holder for ambience, like this one This frosted glass hanging candle holder adds a nice glow to indoor or patio decor. The 3″ tall x 3 3/4″ wide frosted glass was originally a candle holder, it was after I burned the candle,  that I thought about making it into a hanging candle holder.  Wrapped with copper foil and soldered the ring is securely attached and 2 jump rings are soldered on to attach the  sturdy chain to.
