My HAF Shop Dreams and Echoes
I began as a visual artist, in which I was trained (college) and still do visual art. But from the beginning I was drawn to handmade jewelry. Then my daughter began making jewelry. Her work was awesome, right from the beginning. She taught me the basics, and I’ve never looked back. I’ve never met a bead I didn’t like, and I really love learning new techniques.
My work tends toward the primal and earthy or toward the victorian looks, but lately I’ve been experimenting, and recently did a necklace with a handpainted pendant in celebration of spring. My work is also influenced by the four sacred energies: fire, water, earth, air, and by the seasons, by nature.
Now beading is my passion. I sell on Etsy and on HAF. I am in love with the Handmade Artists Forum. It’s one of the best sites available, partly because the community of artists is closely knit, the hosts are awesome in all they do, including promoting the artists’ works, and because the art that is shown there is incredible and of high quality.
To sum it up, I am a jewelry artist, influenced by many things, who loves the experience of being part of HAF.
Stop by and check out my shop Dreams and Echoes on The Handmade Artists’ Shop.
