It is my great pleasure to introduce to you Sandi today, the owner ofiKnitQuiltSew. She offers boutique quality Sewing, Knitting and Crochet for mom and baby at affordable prices. She specializes in baby art quilts (handmade and hand quilted), handmade rag dolls, teddy bears and baby/ ladies knits. All her items are designed and crafted by her own hand and mind. She delightfully accepts Custom orders and they are welcome in her shop!

Sandi thanks Handmadeartists.com for giving her store  iKnitQuiltSew  an outlet for her passion. She had been told every time she would give a quilt/blanket/booties/bear, etc., the recipient would comment, “Oh, you should sell these!” After nearly forty years of hearing this, she decided

to take the plunge! Sandi and her shop  iKnitQuiltSew  is a successful seller on handmadeartists.com

I just love these “cowboy booties” she does for the lil ones, that is an idea I have not seen anywhere else. Unique to her and her shop and art.

 

She truly loves what she does… whether it’s knitting that perfect pair of booties or hand-quilting her latest creation, it’s a labor of love for her. Sandi creates with passion still, for this reason, you won’t find hundreds of items in her store. Each and every item is made with care and great attention to the details by her.

Don’t you just want to cuddle this lil one…..
Her grandmother taught her to knit and sew before color TV was invented, as this happened to so many of us handmade peeps. Most of her knitting comes from patterns that her mother owned – which would date them then to the late 1800s! This is what gives her knitting its old-fashioned, classic style.

 

Her baby items are as adorable as can be – too….

 

She is a self-taught quilter (via books and observation) . Sandi states she learned from books years ago. But primarily, she is a artist. Her medium is fabric and yarn! Sandi is a seller here – iKnitQuiltSew – since February 2010 and is thrilled to have done this step to share her creations

here on handmadeartsists.com.

  Sandi is a great fiber artist in all her mediums and Monika a great “wordcrafter” as well as maker of beautiful mosaics.
