Handmade Happenings!!

Well boys and girls, summer is winding down, children will be going back to school and life will be returning to some state of normal. For most I hope.
Few things to look at, first we are starting a fall blog ring. The details can be found here
Blog rings are great way to support each other and handmade. So if you haven’t done one previously, maybe it is time to jump in.

Another great way to support each other and promote handmade is by creating a Handmade Highlight. Highlights are collection or treasury of items you choose from Handmade Artists Shop. The great thing about highlights is that google loves them and indexes them constantly. It is a great way to dig up old buried items and a great way to support each other. By banning together as a community we will one day become the best purely handmade site out there.

Another great way to support each other is to read and comment on our blog. Just click blog on the top tool bar of Handmade Artists and you’ll see all the latest posts. To comment however you must be logged in.

Lastly, our goal here at handmade artists is to support and promote handmade. So another way of getting noticed is to post your new creations on the forum gallery. Just click forum on the top tool bar and scroll down to where you see handmade gallery. Choose an appropriate section to post your creation and make sure you add a picture as it is intended to be a gallery. We will promote your item all over to help get exposure for you and handmade.

Here’s to a great new season and the building and supporting of the best purely handmade venue around. Also, just a reminder, keep an eye our for the our new version of Handmade Artists’ coming soon. We will be approaching the testing phase here in the next couple of weeks. So some very exciting things are on the horizon!!!!
