Featured Artist – Jeannie’s Boutique

My name is Jeannie, i am Welsh but have been living in France for 30 years. I have been embroidering for about the last 10 years and it’s become a real passion of mine. I am self taught and have learnt many different stitches and ways to embroider from books.

Many of my pieces are my own creations, from flowers that i’ve picked or photographed, then drawn . They are then traced onto fabric and are worked in traditional embroidery. Over the last year i have introduced silk ribbon in my work and i love to mix the two together.
