Featured Artist – Earrings and Crochet By Cathy

Hi, my name is Cathy, I live in Phila Pa.,married with 4 stepchildren, 3 girls and 1 boy. I began crafting in my 1st year of high school. It’s kind of a funny story because when I took a class for crafts the 1st thing they taught me was crochet, or should I say tried to teach me. I tried to learn but couldn’t and after 1 semester my teacher told me I had to leave the class and try next year. I  was so mad and determined to learn that I went out and bought a book and taught myself to crochet. I soon realized the reason I couldn’t learn to crochet in class was because I was left-handed.  Ever since then I’ve been crocheting as much as I can.  I also enjoy beading and doing plastic canvas.
