Hi everyone! Autumn is in the air and on Discover Handmade for November 15. Living in Southern California, I don’t have the pleasure of seeing the foliage around me change into fall colors.  Autumn Leaf Earrings

 These beautiful earrings were inspired by nature in all of it’s autumnal glory. Three handmade maple leaves sway and dance from 14k gold plated ear-wires.

Each leaf has been handpainted with mica powders. The leaf colors are copper, red-purple and pink-red. All of the leaves have a beautiful golden center that helps to give them that lovely glow that the leaves have when the sun passes through them. 

They hang approx 2 3/4″ long

5 Autumn Woodland Lampwork Spacer Beads Grab Bag

 Above are stock photo.  This set include 5 orange beads accented with a discontinue glass blend from Spiral Dance.  The beads are about 8x11mm in size with 2mm stringing holes.  All my beads are kiln annealed and cleaned.

Out of the four seasons, autumn is my favorite. I love the rich shades of brown and golden highlights… but of course only what I have seen in picture books and on the silver screen.  OK… that was bad I know.
