Good Morning Friends! Welcome to Discover Handmade April 11. I do believe spring has arrived…although if you live in So. California, it feels like summer! HOT! Speaking of hot….I’d like to introduce the following artists for April 11 Discover Handmade: therodeorose, milminedesign, CynthiaIves, and chainmaille.

Springtime reminds me of April showers and Easter eggs but these Russian Easter Egg Earrings Pysanky SRAJD by therodeorose certainly caught my eye. I can honestly say I have never seen anything like this before.  Please read on for more information…

‘This pair of Russian Easter Egg earrings are made of a pair of very clever cloisonné oval beads. They have dangles of sparkling Swarovski crystals. Earrings are 2 inches long and are embellished with 14k gold plated tiny beads”

Here’s another eye-catching item “Handmade Lampwork Bead Violet Green Lavender Lampwork Glass Bead Focal Tabular SRA by milminedesign”  Such a unique design and the colors… violet, gold speckles, splashes of red, and (my favorite) several shades of green! Amazing! If you like this bead you should definitely check out the Turquoise Bead in Karens shop!

‘Handmade lampwork bead has a base of black glass painted with frit in colors of violet, lavender, green and sparkly golden aventurine.

SIZE: Lampwork bead is tabular shaped and measures 27mm x 23mm. I have used a 5/64” mandrel and hole runs top to bottom’

You can never have to many of these around the house, ’Crocheted Wash Cloths or Dish Cloths by CynthiaIves” especially in sage green… ;o)  Cynthia also makes Sea-glass jewelry, hand knitted items, and…  I’ll let you see for yourself, more info below

‘Set of 3 crocheted wash cloths/dish cloths.  In  sage green, country green and a striped one in both colors. These 100% cotton cloths are a joy to use.  As a wash cloth they really pamper.  They are just “nubbly” enough to give the skin a nice massage’

I tried but I couldn’t pass this stylish Sterling Silver and Copper Tryzantine Chainmaille Necklace by chainmaille.  This necklace has an intricate design and would undoubtedly be an eye-catching accessory with any outfit. Chainmaille has bracelets, pendants, and much more in his shop (see below for more information)
